Well I am glad he didn't respond. Sad part is my friend texted me how her weekend went and how he told her he loves her. He likes to flirt and I know he has even done it in front of her (waitresses) and she has called him out on it and he said he didn't think anything of it.

SO, I'm just putting this out there: I think that match and cupid and whatever are great and all, but I found someone pretty freakin' cool in NO time on a faith based site. I think it could be any specialty site, and you'll have better luck. You'll start with a pre-selection of people that are into whatever you're into. Also with the faith based sites, I imagine you weed out some of the pervs.

OTS - Faith Based Sites do have the pre-selection factor. But I imagine they don't weed out all of the pervs. That's one of the hazards of online dating.

Belle, that sucks about Romeo - I'm sorry but secretly being on a dating site while being in a relationship is inappropriate no matter what. Before you work on your weight, work on feeling attractive. It's not about the number on the scale...it really isn't. Ask yourself what YOU find attractive, and be that woman.

CR, I really felt I had to get to know a guy pretty well before asking about how the marriage ended. Also, that's how I got straight answers. Getting to know someone takes time, and online dating shouldn't be a shortcut where you make someone take a quiz to find out their red flags IMO. A guy actually did quiz me a lot. I laughed and acted amused, but it turned me off even though I was really into him. Think of online dating as an introduction service only.
