So, when trying to log on from my phone, it says that my IP address has been banned (when using my cell data points). When using my phone on my home Wifi, I can log on.

It would seem to me that using my home Wifi or random Wifi would be more likely to ban me than using my own cell company's data points. What's up?

I'm going to assume that I have been mistakenly banned since I have no recent flags that I know of and go ahead and post.

From your cell phone, go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup and it will show. If I can't figure it out, I'll appeal to AR. smile

Thanks, RHW!

It really sucked seeing a 'you've been banned' message, lol. Glad you're here and on top of things. Thanks!

It was on that website. Maybe it was an example?

Is there something on my phone that says it?

Not banned, but I got a big red warning this morning that the MA site contained malware and was unsafe. Even now there is a red warning in front of the URL on my desktop screen.

I just left a message for AR on the Migration thread. Strange.

I got that same warning today

While this is being looked into...

According to Google Safe Browsing, our site contains pages that might send you to a malicious site.

Seriously?

Some other site checking reports:

https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=www.marriageadvocates.com

https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/result.php

https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/marriageadvocates.com

http://onlinelinkscan.com/results/marriageadvocates-com/

You might have to re-enter the url to get results. TrendMicro will probably time out.

Thanks, Mark, for digging up that info. I'm out of town and got that red alert on my screen earlier, but not when I just logged onto my phone. I have no idea what it's all about, but since you alerted the whole BoD, AR should be able to make sense of it.

So, if I had a desire to mess with MA all I would have to do is put a link to a malicious site in one of my posts?

Seems to me that it should be more difficult than that.

If that's all it would take, would putting a link in a pm have the same result?

I would hate for it to become necessary to monitor links in pm's but it would be better than being afraid to use the MA site.

I've had the same warning all day -

"The site ahead contains malware

Attackers currently on www.marriageadvocates.com might attempt to install dangerous programs on your computer that steal or delete your information (for example, photos, passwords, messages, and credit cards).

Automatically send some system information and page content to Google to help detect dangerous apps and sites. Privacy policy

Google Safe Browsing recently detected malware on www.marriageadvocates.com. Websites that are normally safe are sometimes infected with malware. Learn more.

If you understand the risks to your security, you may visit this unsafe site before the dangerous programs have been removed."

No idea what it means, but it didn't activate my virus/malware protection warning, just Safe Google Browsing, whatever that is.

I am getting the same malware warning. I'm on my tablet now with no problem but I'm too chicken to ignore the big red screen on my laptop.
Any guidance on what I should do? Should I just continue to the site and let my microsoft antivirus defender deal with it?

Thanks

Hey you guys, I have had this happen to me on and off for the past two years.
Always on my mobile, never from a computer or laptop.

I finally figured out it must have something to do with the browser on my mobile phone.
The solution was/is to re-boot my phone (a soft re-set) and it would work again properly.

Good luck!

I am NOT receiving any malware warnings, either on my mobile or from my computers (both Macs).

Could that be a Microsoft (PC) thing?

Just an update.

We are working on trying to resolve this. I can tell you that so far nothing has been found in the way of malicious code or other threats but we are still checking. It's a tedious and time consuming process.

We'll keep you informed as soon as we find out more. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Is anyone working on this? It's really annoying. I can't use my chrome book or phone. I imagine that this would be driving off posters and new traffic. It can't be helpful to be warned that the site has malware.

Best

Edit: I just saw Mark's post... got it.

Unfortunately the solution to this is not instant pudding.

We have found no malicious links, code or embedded software that doesn't belong on the site. Getting the site removed from the bad list is a bit more complicated.

Currently, Google says we have a problem. That means that Chrome has the warning. Because Firefox relies on Google for information about sites, that browser also has the warning. I understand that Safari is also putting up flags.

I don't get any warning from IE, Edge, or Opera. I also don't get a flag when using my Samsung browser on my phone.

I use Norton real time safe browsing on my desktop and don't get anything but a green flag and assurance that the site is secure and safe. Both Firefox and Chrome allow going to the articles and the forum list without a flag.

You can bypass the warning, even on chrome but we will continue to try to get it resolved.

Hi Lil! Nice to see you. smile

As long as the failure wasn't caused by coming here, lol. I'm watching closely to see if I have any coincidences. So far, not this time. Yay!

I'll look for an update thread. Would love to know how you're all doing.
