If you've reached the point in your marriage where you feel compatible again, but you want to take your marriage to the next level, this is the forum where you can learn about better communication, negotiation, and MAgnified compatibility. Taking your marriage from surviving to thriving is a journey through the rest of your life. "Love is a verb".

I would LOVE it if OurHouse, NED and Cat did something on 'Drive By Honesty'.

I first read their thoughts and pointers on it on the MB101 forum and it was such a help to me in early recovery. I still use it now (much less frequently) It's a great way of getting a point across without needing a meta discussion with a conversationally challenged husband, or getting into an argument.

Lil, LA does "drive-by honesty" really well, too. I'll ask her to post here.

Lil suggested that NED, CAT or OH (and RHW suggested LA) post about Drive By Honesty like was discussed on MB Marriage 101.

I've started a thread on this so please share your insights there.

Thanks!
Ace

Hello!

Just a heads up that several posters have offered to create threads which will help spouses with OK marriages progress to GOOD marriages and on to GREAT! marriages.

If anyone is interested in helping develop this using concepts from Harley's Top 10 + Emotional Needs, Chapmans' 5 Love Languages or other sources, please post on the "What is the best way to build this?" thread link or PM me.

Thanks for this forum, Star*fish and all MA leaders.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Sammoh,

Welcome to Marriage Advocates. You asked about a thread so here's a link to Drive-by Honesty by LovingAnyway who just returned to MA recently. Most anything you read by her is excellent advice.

Again welcome to MA. I'm interested in your story so when you're ready to share I look forward to hearing it. Thanks for posting on this "MAgnify MArriages" forum. It isn't very visible but I think it's got potential to be a destination forum. Many are looking for ways to make an OK marriage good and and good marriage GREAT! Is that your situation?

Best wishes,
Ace
