We hope you find our board to be a useful place to exchange ideas... and to seek support for your marriage. Especially if your marriage is in crisis.

If your marriage is in trouble and you need support, check out our support forums. We have several forums, each has a brief explanation of the kinds of issues that particular forum is meant to deal with. Figure out whichever fits your situation best, and start posting!

Our support forums are not the same as professional counseling or coaching, and are not meant to take their place. Professionals are not always available when you are alone and at your lowest... that is where we come in. When you need support and encouragement - or a friendly voice to give you advice - we are here. Many of us have been where you are now and understand how alone you may feel... and we are here to support you.

We also have forums to discuss and review the various books, websites and marriage programs that are out there today. There is a real thirst for resources to help improve one's marriage, and there are hundreds of programs and books out there that can help. Our members are available to share what they know about the resources that are out there.

You two are getting off to the good start I would have expected, making a difference with your own life view. Notice the Ambassador title? Moderators will eventually be appointed or voted on or something. The suggestion box is always open and both of you have the experience and wisdom to make a difference.

This journey is much better with good support. I know we all have skills to be supportive and we don't have to worry about looking over our shoulder.... besides when I do, I see a bunch of shoulders. LOL!!!!

Thank you for the hope and comfort your posts gave me when I stumbled onto MB (June '06), a total newbie mess. No experience with online forums...no experience with infidelity. Overwhelmed and intimidated by both.

Your wisdom and compassion--and that of a couple of others-- kept me sane and coming back...and ultimately out of "lurkdom" in hope of passing it on.

My youngest D left for UC Berkeley. My wive is pursuing her MA in psychology. I still hold a job and just finish my internship requirement, 3000 hours . I am studying for my licensing exam. How are you ?. Did we find ice on Mars yet ?.

A 2ple of days ago I came here and there were about 14 people registered, and now there are like 76!!!

Is this what Woodstock was like, old timers? I feel like I am at Woodstock! Minus the mud, of course, and helicop2rs!

I just want to say how happy I am that so many people have stopped by. I don't know how many people are looking for a new place to help marriages, how many just want to reconnect with old friends, or how many are just curious.

It doesn't matter. I hope everyone who comes can feel the excitement and energy that is buzzing around here. The freedom of being able to speak, think and create new opportunities to improve marriage is the driving force. And the opportunity to help support people who really need it helps us as much as it helps them.

In any case, the success of this site isn't going to be measured by how many people stop by...but how many people stick around to make it fabulous. :starfish:

I like what I see happening here.

It's nice to be talking about a wide range of subjects vs just discussing infidelity. Sometimes I feel like I've talked so much about it I don't want to talk about it any more.

The discussions are helpful to more than we may realize. So even if you are already familiar with the subject, you never know who you may be helping.

I think discussions are good. Varying opinions are ok as long as it is done in a respectful manner. Don't see that as a problem here.
