I am addicted to my ipod....there I said it No not really, but I love all sorts of music and of course, lately I'm drawn to all sorts of things that "speak" to me. So what are you listening to these days? I love stuff to identify with my life right now (ie marital problems) but it doesn't have to be. It can be sad, uplifting or a mix of everything....whatcha got?

If you need encouragement, I have oodles of stuff (I made a bunch for "Mixes" for myself and DH after D-Day). But it's all Christian, so you might not want that kind of stuff. Let me know if you do.

I'm a music nut and have strange tastes.

I like blues, rock, reggae, latin pop, salsa, cumbia, anything with a harmonica, guitar or sax, classical, and even country western. Depends on my mood.

Really? Billions? If it took a second to download each one, that would be... what? Almost 32 years for a billion?

My iTunes is loaded with all kinds of stuff. I like to get my hands on almost anything I can get, even if I don't like it, I have a hard time deleting it. I have over 4000 songs taking up 18 GB of space on the computer. And it grows almost daily. Mostly rock, metal, some of the newer pop stuff for the kids, but there is a chunk of country and the oddball stuff.

I too like to find stuff relating to my current life or mood, so my playlist changes quite often.

Mmmm music... we're music addicts. We have a lot of music in our personal libraries, but lately we're addicted to Pandora. We're constantly building new stations, sharing stations...fighting with stations, lol.

We run a pretty wide range of music likes. DD LOVES Bach... yes she's only 1 but she always perks up when Bach comes on, laughing, smiling, dancing.

I got quite a bit of rock/pop... been getting into more Techno recently - I'm more a House / Happyhardcore, DH is more Trance. I got some 80s, Classic Rock, New Wave, Alternative, Dance, Industrial, Punk, little bit of Metal, Classical, Salsa/Merengue, Cumbias, Swing, Video Game music, even Mariachi music.... I have days of music and always need more.

It's easier to list what I don't like: Rap & Country (though there are a couple of songs in either genera I like).

TH - Okay, not billions. I'm mathematically challenged. But I have 2,000 at least, and then 4 computers that are completely full of music, plus thumb drives with music. Also have about 1,000 CD's. I also have Sirius.

Could we agree with lots, many, a boat load, too many to remember, a bunch or maybe even more than I can listen to in a week?

I played Rock and Roll and Country and ran sound for an early contemporary Christian band. I listen to jazz, classical, baroque, blues (even some old acoustic stuff from the 30s and 40s), contemporary Christan, opera, 50s, 60s & 70s pop/rock, country (50s and newer)...

I even like some of the old school rap stuff my son likes. (Drives him nuts when I listen to it - which might be why I like it)

I still listen to vinyl sometimes.

I don't own an iPod or MP3 player...

I do listen to MP3s on my PC with the 5.1 cranked up though...

In my truck I currently have CDs by The Oakridge Boys, Dave Brubeck, Fernando Ortega, Clapton, The Beach Boys, The Beetles, Hank Snow, Stanley Turrentine, Virgil Fox, Kenny G, Glad, Joel Chernoff...

I just can't decide what kind of music I like.

Not very fond of techno but do own a couple of Kraftwerk albums on vinyl.

I like everything but twangy country, southern gospel, screaming emo metal stuff, and that repetitive rap that I am sure has loosened all the windows on my car that bleeps out every other word.

Oh, and no Beiber...Beiber is evil and must be destroyed.

I'm a huge fan of country music, and I like pop (especially 80s!) and some hard rock and metal. Also like some classical/instrumentals.

On one of my particularly blue days, a friend randomly posted Dolly Parton's Hard Candy Christmas? on facebook. That was exactly what I needed...highly recommend it for lifting the spirits. Sing it realllly loud

As a retired professional musician, I cannot name any favorites here except for my avatar.

There is a melody and lyrics for every occasion and mood of your life.

It can hurt and comfort you at the same time.

Music never hurts me. It comforts me.

Oddly, Adam Lambert, Katy Perry and Lady GaGa have started to cause me serious pain lately.

And "Men Without Hats" still cause me pain decades later.

But you can dance if you want to.

I mostly like rock and metal, but not "screaming emo metal" and I do like a little pop.

I"ve been listening to Alice in Chains lately. For a while it was Cavo "Ghost", Daughtry "Feels Like Tonight", U2 "One" and "With or Without You". Some of those songs really took me down.

Then I went to Godsmack, Keep Away, I'm Doing the Best I Ever Did, Awake, Crying Like a [Bleep!]. Seether "Gasoline". Rise Against "Savior". Papa Roach "Forever" and "Last Resort".

I love music and it can make or break me.
