If past tense, then perhaps it should be the definition for Recovered Marriage instead of Marital Recovery. I see "recovery" as an ongoing process or "act of recovering" and "recovered" as having successfully reached an end goal; i.e. having recovered or restored your M -- getting to a place where both spouses feel the the trauma has been worked through and the M is protected, happy and healthy.
